In the second chapter of Haggai, God asks the people through His prophet, “How do you see the temple now? Is it not as nothing in your eyes?” The message to the people and their leaders is to not be discouraged and continue the work at hand, knowing that God will supply the increase. We can be encouraged to continue our own labors in Christ, even when it doesn’t seem like our accomplishments are that impressive.
