In the book of Revelation, Jesus appears to his disciple John and provides messages not only for seven churches in Asia, but for Christians throughout the world to warn them of things that would shortly happen in the Roman empire. But where the gospels portray Jesus as the humble teacher and servant, we see an image in Revelation of Jesus the glorified, exalted King and faithful witness of God.
